Support team

Our team of support staff includes legal assistants and administrative roles across the firm, including accounts, knowledge and practice management.

The ClarkeKann Young Professionals Program was established in 1999 to advance the firm’s junior and intermediate level professional staff by providing personal and professional growth and development opportunities.
The Program paves the way for our young professionals to engage with their colleagues in client organisations, associated businesses, and industry participants. The program fosters enhanced working relationships with clients and other parties. There is also a focus on teamwork and alignment.
ClarkeKann’s Young Professionals host several events each year which are designed to provide our network of young professionals with access to educational, networking and personal development initiatives.
Graduate Program
We are committed to creating an environment that encourages our graduates to succeed.
ClarkeKann offers graduates the opportunity to make real contributions and undertake rewarding work with mentoring and guidance from approachable and experienced top tier lawyers.
We’ve created a program offering an exciting, challenging and practical learning experience across the three sections of the firm – Corporate & Commercial, Property & Projects and Litigation & Insolvency.
Our graduates are part of the action from an early stage. The program focuses on strengthening technical, business and personal skills, and incorporates the day to day conduct of “real files” with direct partner and client contact.
We understand that work life balance is important and we actively encourage that balance.
Graduates also undertake practical legal training accredited by the College of Law to satisfy the admission requirements.

Banking & Finance Lawyer/Associate
We are looking for a driven, energetic and proactive lawyer with current or recent experience undertaking financial services work to join our Financial Services team. The role would suit a lawyer with 3-5 years PAE and 2-3 years experience in a banking & finance role. In this role you will have access to a diverse client base, support the Financial Services Partner Miles Anderson and Senior Associate/Special Counsel and supervise graduate and junior lawyers. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced lawyer to be part of a great team and enjoy a fulfilling and interesting legal career and a balanced lifestyle.
Property Senior Associate/Special Counsel
We are looking for a driven, energetic and proactive lawyer with current or recent experience undertaking property work to join our Property & Projects team. The role would suit a lawyer with 8+ years PAE and experience working in a Senior Associate or Special Counsel role. In this role you will have access to a diverse client base, work closely with the Property & Projects Partner John Gray to lead the team, mentor junior staff and take control of complex matters.
