CK Agribusiness Group at the Ekka

Following on from the involvement of our Agribusiness Group in the Beef Australia Expo in Rockhampton in May, members of the Group were involved in a number of events during the Brisbane Ekka in August.

As members of the Rural Press Club, ClarkeKann took a table at the very popular Club Breakfast at the Exhibition Grounds where Tim Ferrier, Katie Gould and Edwina Kelly hosted representatives from Ruralco, Trade and Investment Queensland, Channel Capital, Aux Venture, McNamara Agribusiness and OBE Organic Beef. A very informative address was given by Susan McDonald, the head of the Super Butcher chain.

Tim Ferrier and Sam Bassingthwaighte also attended a presentation on the beef industry as guests of CBRE Agribusiness.

The Brisbane Ekka continues to provide an enduring bridge between city and country in Queensland.
